The Warehouse Kitchen, Wapping E1
Our warehouse apartment has a large open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, and it was important that the kitchen wasn't just a purely functional space for cooking but a key part of furnishing the whole living area, to compliment the authenticity of our listed building. For us, this is something Ledbury Studio does better than anyone else. We gain enormous pleasure from Charlie’s use of beautifully crafted materials – the metal trims, brass hinges and copper panels give the kitchen both a distinctive and a sophisticated look. We needed a dramatic design and once we had seen the Ledbury kitchen, there was only ever one choice.
Pied à Terre Kitchen, Pimlico SW1
I’d known for a long time that I wanted a copper kitchen, but despite a lot of searching just hadn’t seen anything like it. Which was why I was so thrilled to discover Ledbury Studio – the Metallics Collection was exactly the kitchen I’d had in my head! My kitchen is in an open-plan living room and I was adamant that the furniture shouldn’t look like standard square kitchen units. Therefore, I was over-the-moon when I saw the glass-fronted dresser and copper-fronted cabinet that Charlie had designed, as they resemble standalone pieces of furniture.
The Cheshire Kitchen
When we saw Charlie at the Chelsea Flower Show, we were truly inspired.
We wanted our pewter-ware collection to play a starring role in our new kitchen design. Therefore, we were so impressed when Charlie has created this stunning aged-pewter finish for the cupboard doors. He also incorporated special open shelving within the island unit and above the hob for our pewter pieces. As a result, the kitchen is a fabulous focal point for the regular social functions that we host. We particularly love how the kitchen has the feel of proper furniture that sits beautifully in our home.
The Muswell Hill Kitchen
Our kitchen is a long and narrow space but Charlie and the team at Ledbury Studio have done an amazing job of fitting absolutely everything in that we wanted. From a breakfast cupboard and a place for all our cookbooks to plenty of worktop space and cupboards that extend all the way up to the ceiling, it’s perfectly tailored to our lives. Though I have to say, the stand-out feature is the verre eglomise splashback. We knew we wanted a floral motif and Charlie went out of the way to achieve this stunning design. We love it.
The Hackney Kitchen
When we began to plan our new kitchen there were a few things we knew we wanted – something with a modern twist, yet still traditional and timeless (to suit its location in the modern extension of our Victorian house) and something which played with materials and textures (something we’d tried to do with furnishings in other rooms in our house). We knew Ledbury Studio was perfect (and utterly unique) when we saw pictures of the Chelsea Flower Show kitchen on Pinterest.
The room Charlie has created for us is stunning. The copper cupboard fronts are like oil paintings and take on different tones at different times or day or year, although my personal favourite feature is probably the fluted glass drinks cabinet, which has an almost art deco elegance to it when illuminated. As well as looking beautiful, the kitchen is a joy to use, it somehow seems to make cooking quicker and easier than it ever was before! We love the room more and more each day!

The St John's Wood Kitchen
Collaborating with Charlie and his team at Ledbury Studio was a really enjoyable creative process. Charlie is a great listener and tries his very best to make ideas into reality. The materials they use are inspiring, and high-quality. As a result, we have the most beautiful and stunning kitchen, pantry, family room, ensuite and kids bathroom. We love entertaining now, and hardly ever want to leave the house!
