The Camden Kitchen
Our client wanted a large informal space for cooking and entertaining, and so decided to extend her kitchen in Camden into the garden beyond. She has a wonderful sense of style, and wanted to work with a kitchen company who could accommodate her design ideas in a practical and stylish way. She chose Ledbury Studio for the variety of materials and finishes we offer, and our willingness to collaborate with new ideas to create a very personal and bespoke design aesthetic.

Made from natural oak with patinated zinc highlights, the kitchen has a strong contemporary feel which is combined with artisan craftsmanship, exemplified by the magnificent panelled design on the run of oak cupboards concealing the fridge, freezer and larder areas. Exquisite detailing is shown on the sides of the island which are made from fluted oak, and the Ambra Quartz splashback which has been similarly fluted to match.
A magnificent Italian marble design was specially commissioned for the island worktop which is a work of art in itself, and beautifully compliments the muted colours in the rest of the kitchen. Finally as our client does a lot of entertaining, she wanted a screen she could pull across which would divide the dining area from the kitchen when required. Inspired by a retro 70’s design our client found in an antiques shop, Charlie designed a screen made from brushed and polished stainless steel to highlight the geometric pattern, the final eclectic touch to this beautiful kitchen.
